What time does Clovis North High start and end the day?
Our school operates on an alternating “block schedule.”
Monday and Friday:
- Clovis North High starts the day at 8:30 a.m.
- Zero Period starts at 7:20 a.m.
- Clovis North High ends the day at 3:15 p.m.

Tuesday:
- Clovis North High starts the day at 8:30 a.m.
- Zero Period starts at 7:20 a.m.
- “Bronco Lunch Tutorial” at 12:33 p.m.
- Clovis North High ends the day at 3:15 p.m.

Wednesday and Thursday:
- Clovis North High starts the day at 8:40 a.m.
- Zero Period (Thursday only) starts at 7:34 a.m.
- Clovis North High ends the day at 3:15 p.m.
- Wednesdays are “even days” (Periods 2, 4 and 6), and Thursdays are “odd days” (Periods 1, 3 and 7).

Foggy Day Schedule
In the event of severe foggy weather conditions, a Foggy Day Schedule may be called. There are two variants of this:
- Plan A: a two-hour delay in bus transportation. Busses will begin their pick-ups two hours after they are normally scheduled. School will begin at the normal time for students not riding the bus. School will still release at the same time as normal.
- Plan B: a three-hour delay in bus transportation. Busses will begin their pick-ups three hours after they are normally scheduled. School will begin at the normal time for students not riding the bus. School will still release at the same time as normal.
- Plan C: morning transportation cancelled. School will begin at the normal time for students not riding the bus. School will still release at the same time as normal.
