Principal's Message
Message From the Principal

Welcome to a new school year and a new chapter for Clovis North Educational Center. As I begin my first year as Principal, I not only recognize but embrace the tremendous responsibility and privilege of leading this extraordinary campus. I am excited to serve the students, staff, and families of CNEC while continuing to build upon the tradition of excellence that defines our school.
It is especially meaningful to begin this year as we celebrate CNEC's 20th anniversary. For twenty years, Unity, Courage, and Commitment have defined The Stampede, and I am honored to carry those values forward.
Having served the CNEC community as Learning Director and Deputy Principal for the past seven years, and spending over 15 years in the classroom before that, I am proud to begin this next chapter. While my roles have changed over the years, my purpose has not. Students remain at the center of every decision I make. I remain committed to Doc Buchanan’s core values of high standards, teamwork and trust, and a fair break for every kid.
One of the greatest strengths of Clovis North Educational Center is the opportunity to walk alongside students throughout six of the most formative years of their lives. From middle school through graduation, we have the privilege of helping students grow academically, develop character, discover their passions, and prepare them for whatever path comes next.
This growth and development is made possible by our exceptional team of teachers, counselors, coaches, office professionals, campus supervisors, custodians, paraprofessionals, and social-emotional support staff who are committed to excellence every day. Together, this team provides rigorous, relevant learning experiences that inspire curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and challenge students to reach their highest potential. We believe in maintaining high standards while ensuring every student receives a fair break and the support they need to succeed.
At CNEC, we are committed to developing the Mind, Body, and Spirit of every student. Our goal is simple: to know our students well, challenge them to achieve their best, and prepare them with the knowledge, character, and confidence to succeed in whatever path they choose.
I encourage every family to stay connected with their students’ academics and campus. Please visit our website, monitor Parent Connect and ParentSquare, attend CNEC sponsored meetings, and participate in the many activities, performances, competitions, and celebrations throughout the year. Together, we are stronger. Your involvement strengthens our Bronco community and makes The Stampede an even better place.
Thank you for your partnership and for the trust you place in Clovis North Educational Center. I look forward to all that we will accomplish together as we continue pursuing excellence. Go Broncos!
