CNEC Student Parking Regulations - 2026-27 School Year

Posted Date: 08/14/26 (03:48 PM)

Dear CNEC Parents and Guardians,
As we begin the 2026–27 school year, we want to remind families of the student parking regulations at Clovis North Educational Center. These expectations are in place to help maintain a safe, orderly campus for students, staff, and visitors.
All student vehicles parked on campus must display a valid CNEC parking permit from the rearview mirror so that it is clearly visible from outside the vehicle.
Students must park only in designated student parking areas and must pull forward into parking stalls. Backing into parking spaces is not permitted.
The Student Parking Lot is located on the far west side of campus, closest to Chestnut Avenue on the Clovis North side. More student parking is located on the far east side of campus, closest to Willow Avenue on the Granite Ridge side.
Students may not park in other campus lots unless permission has been specifically granted by Clovis Unified Police. This includes:

  • Parking areas south of the Performing Arts Center (PAC)
  • Lots located parallel to the athletic fields
  • Staff parking areas
  • Parking areas near the baseball and softball fields during the school day
  • Back campus access roads
A-frame signs are placed throughout campus to identify restricted parking areas.
Students are also not permitted to sit in parked vehicles or loiter in the parking lots during the school day, including during lunch.
All drivers are expected to follow California vehicle laws and CNEC campus driving regulations. A 10 MPH speed limit is enforced in all campus parking areas.
Failure to follow parking and driving regulations may result in consequences including loss of the privilege to drive or park on campus, school disciplinary action, and/or referral to law enforcement when appropriate. Parking violations may also result in a citation issued by Clovis Unified Police or other law enforcement agencies.
We appreciate your assistance in reviewing these expectations with your student. Safe and responsible driving and parking practices help us maintain a secure campus for everyone.
Thank you for your cooperation and continued support.
